Check Firmware Version

Find the small RESET button on the bottom of Aura.

  1. Press it once.

  2. Aura will restart, and for about 1 second, the LEDs will show a Version Color before loading your mode.

How to Install

Updating Aura’s firmware is simple and takes about a minute.

1. Enter Update Mode

To update the firmware, you need to put Aura into Update Mode.

Use the RESET button:

  1. Insert a toothpick or paperclip into the reset hole.

  2. Double-press the reset button (two quick presses).

  3. Aura will enter Update Mode and appear on your computer as a USB drive named something like:
    AURA_BOOT, FEATHERBOOT, or AURA_UPDATE

⚠️ If you only press the reset button once, Aura will just restart (and show the version color).
You must double-press to enter update mode.

2. Download the Latest Firmware

Click below to download the newest .uf2 firmware file:

3. Install the Firmware

  1. Open the USB drive that appears.

  2. Drag the firmware .uf2 file into the drive.

  3. The drive will automatically eject and Aura will reboot with the new firmware.
